Authenticity is the reason a guest remembers the night. Specification is the reason your team can sign the order. We deliver both, with the documentation your procurement and fire-safety reviews will ask for.
Spec 01
Fire-retardant textiles certified to the standard each market requires, ASTM E84 for US occupancy, NFPA 701 and CPAI-84 for the fabrics themselves, Eurocode equivalents across the EU. Certification is part of every hospitality build, not an afterthought.
Spec 02
Insulated for desert heat and mountain cold, with structural calculations benchmarked to local wind and snow loads. The boz üy has held the steppe for thousands of years. We engineer it for your site and your code.
Spec 03
A wood frame that lasts decades, with replacement felt and covers held for you and a clear maintenance schedule. Your asset stays beautiful through years of occupancy, not just the opening-week photographs.
Spec 04
Five units or twenty-five, built to one standard, not a row of one-offs. Every yurt passes a recorded quality inspection before it leaves Kyrgyzstan, so what raises on your site matches what you signed for.

No centre pole, so the full floor is usable in every size. A 6m unit travels at roughly 150 kg and around 2 cubic metres packed; larger sizes scale up, confirmed per build. Delivered DAP, all-in to your door, or FOB from the airport if your team runs the freight.
In every order
The frame
The tündük crown ring, the curved uuk roof poles, the kerege lattice walls, and the bosogo door frame with its door. Steam-bent willow, rawhide-bound, no metal.
The felt skin
Handmade wool felt for the roof and the walls, over a woven reed (chiy) insulation layer. Carded, rolled, and sewn by hand in the village.
The weather cover
A breathable weatherproof outer cover for wet climates, repelling rain while letting the wool breathe. Not a plastic tarp over the craft.
The interior, your call
By default, the clean architectural fit-out we recommend for hospitality: natural felt and considered, modern detail. Or, for those who want the authentic article, the fully decorated traditional version, shyrdak and zabık bash and all.
The spares for assembly
Additional roof poles and the central raising prop (bakan) used to lift the crown, so the first assembly goes up without improvisation.

Orders from five to twenty-five units are ready to take now. For larger volumes, talk to us early so we plan the season around your opening.

An order of five to twenty-five units is feasible within six months, production to delivery, with a thirty-day contingency written into the contract. Each unit is individually built, and the lead time is the proof of it.

The people behind it
Tündük is led by Yossi Ghinsberg, who has lived in tents on four continents since 1995, and Nura, a Kyrgyz keeper of the tradition who runs the family's boz üy camp on Lake Issyk-Kul.
Behind every frame stands Adylet, our master builder, and the family workshop he leads in Kyzyl-Tuu, the village that is the world centre of the craft. We work inside that relationship. It is what no rival can source on a price list.
It is why we can promise authenticity and volume in the same breath. The craft is real. The people are real. We have simply built the bridge that carries it to your property.
The master builder
Adylet is a third-generation master builder. He learned the craft from his father, who learned it from his. His family workshop in Kyzyl-Tuu was building yurts before the Soviet cooperative that formalised the trade, kept building through it, and builds still.
He does not work alone. The workshop is a family of specialists, each holding a part of the craft, which is how a single village answers an order of up to twenty-five units without thinning what makes each one real.
